Kitti Horvat

I am a textile designer in my ninth semester at the State Academy of Art and Design Stuttgart. 
In the course of my studies I have learned various textile design techniques, such as weaving on button and computer-controlled looms, knitting on single-bed and double-bed knitting machines, as well as screen and digital printing.
In my work as a designer, I like to find new and unexplored ways to reinterpret and combine traditional techniques. In doing so, I play with unusual color and material combinations and structures. I value experimental ways of working.
I take inspiration from my surroundings and always try to find and transfer its beauty in the small things into my work.
