comON and Miniartextil at Première Vision 2019

Also this year comON will be present from 12th to 14th February at Paris Nord Villepinte in Hall 5 Stand M36 bis, in the frame of the most important textile fair in the world. A unique opportunity for dialogue and confrontation between the industrial world and that of fashion and art in favor of the training of young talents.

After the wonderful exhibition in San Pietro in Atrio in Como last December, Première Vision will host the special combination that has embellished the eleventh edition of comON.

This year, in fact, the creative platform - embryo of the ideas of school and university students has seen the precious presence of the artist Mimmo Totaro who has signed the captivating exhibition Mannequin, a particular work created specifically for the comON project. #creativity sharing with the support of Unindustria Como and some of the most important textile companies in the area of Como, which are famous all over the world.

Ecosustainability and traceability were the themes that inspired not only the appreciated artist from Como, who has been the creator and curator of the Miniartextil exhibition for years, but also the works, outfits and accessories made by young high school students from Como and the universities of Lombardy selected by the management of Première Vision to be exhibited in Paris.

Young people, in fact, who are already attentive to these topics for which millennials and generation Z have been particularly sensitive for some time, have been asked for their personal interpretation of sustainability without forgetting the productive reality and the vision as responsible consumers. The world of fashion today is indeed more than ever attentive to the traceability of the supply chain, the recycling of materials and consumption.

The selected works belong to the students of high schools: ENAIP CANTÙ; ISIS DI SETIFICIO PAOLO CARCANO; IIS MARELLI-DUDOVICH MILAN and of Universities ACCADEMIA DEL LUSSO; IED - ISTITUTO EUROPEO DI DESIGN seats of MILAN, ROME, TURIN,  and ACCADEMIA DI BELLE ARTI ALDO GALLI IED COMO;  ISGMD ATENEO POST DIPLOMA LECCO; ISTITUTO MARANGONI MILAN; NABA – NUOVA ACCADEMIA DI BELLE ARTI, that will be admired by the great public of Première Vision that every year has increasingly appreciated the installations of comON.
